Roadrunner Food Bank, in partnership with Las Cruces Public Schools, will host a free produce pop-up food distribution at the Field of Dreams on Thursday, November 13.
This event is open to everyone in the community, no registration required. Fresh produce will be available at no cost to help families and individuals who could use a little extra support.
Distribution begins at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive early and make room in your vehicle for boxes.

The Hawks’ volleyball team captain has dominated the court this season, recording 51 aces, 607 assists, 228 digs and 38 kills. Her coach describes her as disciplined, competitive and a true leader.

Dailen has been unstoppable as a running back for the Hawks football team, rushing for 1,151 yards and scoring 19 total touchdowns this season. His coach describes him as a hard-working competitor and a key contributor to the team’s success.

The next food drive will take place on Thursday, November 6, at 9:00 a.m. at the LCPS Family Support Center. The food drive will benefit up to 75 families in our community. Please arrive early, as distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is a reminder that we will have a Parent and Swimmer Meeting on Thursday, October 30th at 5:00 PM in the Las Cruces High School Library. This meeting is mandatory for all 8th graders and high school swimmers who are interested in joining the team and did not attend the Zoom meeting last week.
The swim season officially begins on November 3rd, with tryouts scheduled for November 3rd and 4th at the Las Cruces Natatorium from 6:00–7:30 AM.
During the meeting, coaches will review meet dates, practice expectations, and discuss future developments in the swim program. This meeting will ensure swimmers and families have all the necessary information before the season begins. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
